Audi Will Present Its E Tron Quattro In 2018
This famous car manufacturer will start to manufacturer its new E-Tron production version in Belgium and also plans to design its batteries there. This Quattro concept CUV is expected by many Audi fans and other drivers because it’s the first electric vehicle expected to have up to 25% of deliveries in the US within 10 years.
The angular design of this future electric crossover was presented at auto shows in 2015, and this company claims that its production will start in just a few years. The best part is that this car receives its great get-up from 3 electric engines at once: one of them is in its front, and others are at its back, and they provide it with 429-496 hp.
Audi also announces that its new E-Tron has a battery that delivered 95 kWh and a 311-mile range. It’s interesting that it has already signed a contract to use Samsung and LG battery cells for a final product.
Finally, there are some rumors that suggest this company to call its Q6 production version, and Audi supports them by claiming that its new sports SUV will be a perfect fit between Q5 and Q7 lineups, but the CEO says that this car may have a completely different name. This brand takes the development of EVs quite seriously because this market segment is demanded.
