The Next Performance Version Of Audi Q5 Will Be Launched In 2017
This famous car manufacturer wants to enhance its RS lineup by adding a future version of the second generation of Q5. It will have a 3-liter and 450 horsepower V6 engine. For many Audi fans, the good news is that this car will be presented in 2017.
Basically, the next Q5 is developed and designed by Quattro division in Germany, just like other popular performance cars, including RS5 (2nd generation) and RS4 (4th generation). It’s obvious that this car will have the same engine, dual clutch transmission, and all-wheel drive platform shared with the above-mentioned models.
A new Q5 is an important part of future plans set by this well-known German company in the attempt to boost its performance SUV position and presence in this market segment in a few years. That’s because Audi directors understand a growing demand for such cars in all major markets.
When they developed and presented RS Q3, they expected high sales, but real results exceeded their expectations, and that’s why this company wants to design a more powerful and efficient performance car now. Finally, just like other Q5 models developed by Audi, a future RS lineup will be assembled in the new manufacturing plant located in Mexico.
