History of Carbon Motors
"Carbon Motors Corporation American automobile Corporation, developing specialized police vehicles. It was founded in Los Angeles in 2003, Stacy Dean Stephens and William Santana Li (former police officer and former head of Ford, respectively). In 2006 the company moved to Georgia, in Atlanta, where he continued to develop their products. In July 2009, the company again changed location, moving in Connersville in Indiana.
22 March 2010 "Carbon Motors has signed a contract with BMW for the supply of 240 000 6-cylinder diesel engines.
In early March 2013 the company began dismantling of equipment at the plant in Connersville, as the lease had expired at the end of the month. In April, the company has closed its website, and ceased operations.
