History of Infiniti
The history of the Japanese company "Infiniti" is closely connected with the history of the company "Nissan" 70-90s of the 20th century. After the United States began a fuel crisis in 1975, many Americans, loyal to the cars the big three from Detroit, gradually began to pay attention to inexpensive and much more efficient Japanese car manufacturers. So, in the next 10 years, the company Nissan has become one of the leaders in the automotive markets of the USA and Canada, is firmly entrenched there.
However, in 1986, when the situation with fuel again normalized, it turned out that there is a whole segment of affluent buyers are willing to spend the money for practical, but at the same time luxurious and comfortable, and most importantly powerful cars. The Japanese company has firmly decided to take this segment, creating its luxury division, called "Infiniti" (Infinity), which specialized in the production of luxury versions of current models of Nissan. It is worth noting that the Japanese marketing companies have gone to great risk, deliberately made a spelling error in the name of the new brand, as well as using the familiar logo of the brand Valentino, deliberately turning his order once again to emphasize the solidity of the new automaker.

The power unit worked together with the same four-speed automatic transmission from the Q45, which, however, received a more extensive course of transmission, which allowed to increase high torque at start.
In 1996 he was presented the first off-road luxury car Infiniti QX4, which was built on the base frame SUV Nissan Pathfinder. The engine was located 4.2-liter engine with 240 horsepower, working in conjunction with automatic or manual transmission gear shift from the Nissan Z.
By 2000, the brand has firmly established itself on the American car market, becoming a recognizable and in demand in the country has opened more than 50 official dealerships of the company.
However, the real revolution began succeeding infinity, which were introduced in 2002 and 2003. The first of these was the mid-sized sedan Infiniti G35, which was equipped with new uprated engine of 3.5 liters, the power of 240 horsepower. In the same year appeared a full-sized version, which received four-wheel drive and the name of the M45.
However, the real hit on the U.S. market and abroad has become a model full-size crossover Infiniti FX35/45, the maximum power of the motor, which reached 280 horsepower. It is this model for the first year amounted to half of all cars sold by Japanese companies, and in 2004 it began to put unofficial dealers on the territory of Europe. It is FX has become a trendsetter in the new segment, where many other brands have tried to copy its hi-tech design with sharp lines and smooth lines of the body.
In 2004 was presented with the second generation model QX, which was built on the basis of the full-size Nissan Armada, and the engine was located 5,6-liter engine, with a capacity of 320 horsepower.
3 years later, after the restructuring of the steering apparatus of companies "Nissan", it was decided to bring the "infinity" on the European car market. The result has been the leader in its segment. Thanks to the European sales, the company has started to update the model range, presented in 2008, the second generation Infiniti FX, which has made another revolution in the automotive world, becoming a technological leader for the next 6 years. And in 2010 were updated sedans M and Q and QX full-size, which was based on the Nissan patrol.
In the same year began a collaboration with a team of Formula 1 Red bull, which provided "Infiniti" the ability to use race track Austrian company and its best to work on new cars, which combined two sides - luxury and sporty character.
