History of Lincoln
In 1917, Henry Leyland, the founder of the brand "Cadillac", has registered a new company, "Lincoln", to start production of aircraft power units by order of the armed forces of the United States of America. However, the financial difficulties of the Leland forced him to put "Lincoln" at the auction and the new owner of the brand in 1922 and became one of the major players in the automotive market of the USA Henry Ford.
That's when the company began to produce luxury cars, and through the development of powerful engines for aircraft, there was no question about the technical component models. In 1932, was presented model Lincoln KV, equipped with a twelve-power unit.
